]]> From 2021, we will have an 80 kW photovoltaic system on the roof of our company building. We use 70 % of this ecologically generated solar power directly in the company – we also use it to operate our heat pump. We feed the surplus into the Vorarlberg regional energy grid.

In addition, we are renewing the lighting in the production hall and in the office and will use the latest LED technology in the future. With these measures, we are significantly improving our energy balance and optimising the lighting conditions in all rooms at the same time.

For a clean result, rollers with flexible rubber coatings are mostly used. With our non-stick coating, the laminate comes off the roller even more easily. Our roller is – in contrast to the well-known hard non-stick surfaces made of Teflon or PFA – even more flexible. It opens up new possibilities for film coating with materials that adhere well.

Furthermore, we install rubberised rollers made of silicone or Viton or hard rollers with hard coat, ceramic or chrome coating on our laminators.

]]> We are happy to test a wide variety of connections of materials and foils for our customers with our technical centre machine.

This way, we help you determine the conditions under which the desired laminating requirement will work best. These findings are the basis for planning the laminating process and choosing the right laminator.

As a test machine we are using a UVL pro laminator with a working width of 600 mm, equipped with two heatable laminating rollers, a pre-heater (both up to 200°C) and double contact pressure (2 kN).

In addition, rollers with different rubber hardnesses, one with non-stick rubber coating and one hard roller are available.  This allows the core process to be tested in the widest possible parameter range.

Together we are developing a laminating process that works safely!

After the grand airport tour, a factory tour at BMW with a visit to BMW World, we enjoyed the finest Bavarian beer and a guided tour of the Franziskaner brewery. There was something for everyone – a great team weekend.
